With reference to my despatch No 620 of the 3rd of Oct, I have the honour to inform you that the C.A. have been instructed to pay the pensions drawn from the W & O P Fund of Hong Kong by Mrs Robertson and Mrs Wildey at the rate of 5/- to the dollar, with the difference, in the case of Mrs Robertson, between the Di-rate and the actual rate at which she has drawn pension, from the date when the pension began to be paid in England.
2. I desire to draw your special attention to the case of Mrs Wildey. Her husband died in October 1900, but two letters addressed to the R.F.W. dd/the/ by her representative, Mr John Errington, on the 19th of Dec in that year and the 14th of Jan last, asking the amount of her pension, have never been answered and it was not until a telegraphic enquiry was sent by the C.A. on the 24th ult that the amount of the pension was
